What We Do

Three offshore scopes we’re built for.

Inspection & NDT

Structural inspection, splash zone inspection, underdeck surveys and NDT (UT, MPI, PAUT) on offshore structures. Reports compiled for asset integrity and class society review.

Coating Repair & Corrosion Control

Blasting, coating repair, and corrosion control on topsides, jackets, legs, and splash zone — working from rope with containment and environmental controls for offshore application.

Mechanical Work & Fabric Maintenance

Bolt-up, small fabrication, handrail replacement, grating repair, and general fabric maintenance executed on rope — reducing scaffold mobilisation and minimising POB requirements.

How It Works

Offshore certifications verified. Every technician holds current IRATA, BOSIET/HUET, offshore medical, and MIST or equivalent as required by the asset. Certificates provided before mobilisation.
Scope & rigging plan. Rigging plans reviewed with the offshore installation manager, anchor identification, rescue provisions, and integration with the platform’s PTW system.
Mobilisation. Personnel and kit mobilised via chopper or vessel per the asset’s logistics plan. Sea fastening, manifesting, and cargo certification handled in advance.
Execute offshore. Work executed on rope with daily toolbox talks, JSAs reviewed, and progress reported into the asset’s work control system.
Demob & reporting. Demobilisation per plan, full report with photos and any NDT results handed over to the asset integrity and maintenance teams.

Common Questions

What offshore certifications do your technicians hold?

Current IRATA L1/L2/L3 as appropriate for the scope, plus BOSIET or HUET, offshore medical, MIST where required, and any client-specific inductions. We match the cert package to the asset’s requirements before mobilisation.

Which regions do you work in?

South African waters, the sub-Saharan Africa offshore region, and mobilisations into West Africa and the Indian Ocean on project basis. Further afield is negotiable for the right scope.

Can you do NDT offshore?

Yes — our offshore teams include SAIW/PCN-qualified NDT technicians for UT, MPI, DPI and PAUT as required. NDT reports meet class and asset integrity requirements.

How fast can you mobilise?

For a planned scope with lead time, two to four weeks depending on cert verification and logistics. For emergency support on an asset we already know, faster. Call to discuss the specific scope.
